According to a report in the Korean newspaper Maeil Business, Samsung has signed an agreement with Telecom Italia Mobile in Italy to provide the operator with around 50 WiBro-enabled PDA phones and PCMCIA cards used in notebook PCs to test WiBro services. This follows similar WiBro-related contracts with Sprint Nextel, BT, and TVA. The two companies also plan to demonstrate WiBro services during the Winter Olympics in Italy in 2006.
